We finally made it to the new year
And I thank God that I’m still here.

Many folks didn’t even make it
That’s why I take nothing for granted.

I got my life and that’s all I need

At times I’m down and I be in need

Homeless People have no food to eat
Panhandling on the street.

Who knows what people go through.

That's why I will never complain

But Jesus is all I talk about.
